Commercial vehicles
MSP are leaders in the design, supply and installation of automated centralised lubrication systems which dispense most lubricants, including heavy viscosity NLGI 2 General purpose Grease.
MSP grease lubrication systems for fleet vehicle operators utilise leading edge technology...
The MSP systems have been designed to meet the increasingly demanding requirements of commercial vehicle lubrication; therefore MSP offers two primary system options:
Option 1: (Multi-line Systems)
The multi-line system is a straightforward and highly effective system where each connected bearing is supplied directly from the pumping unit via an individual feed line.
The feed lines are run in a loom along the vehicle and lines branch off to each separate point. The Multi-line system is highly effective, low cost and straight forward to install.
Option 2: (Progressive Systems)
Progressive Lubrication Systems are normally specified for vehicles that have many lubrication points or have parts that move frequently and are prone to wear & tear. The Lubrication Pump delivers a set amount of grease to a primary divider valve which then splits the grease into subset amountsĀ to secondary divider valves. The secondary divider valves are mounted relatively close to the bearing points to minimise pipe work.
The secondary divider valves then feed each connected point in turn with precise amounts of lubricant without missing any vulnerable parts out.
The benefits of installing MSP automated lubrication systems:
- Longer maintenance intervals
- Fewer repair costs and spares for maintenance
- Improved fleet operating schedules
- Decrease in lubricant consumption
- Environmental/green benefits
- Decrease in labour required with manual lubrication
- Lubricant applied while vehicle is operational
- Increase in bottom-line profits
Typical Applications:
- Front End Tippers (Chassis & Body)
- Hook Lift (Chassis & Body)
- Tractor units (With or without fifth Wheel)
- Body mounted Cranes
- Trailers
- Tankers
- Buses
- Sweepers
